About Eleni
Eleni Stavros is an actor, singer, and writer from sunny San Diego, California. A senior at Syracuse University, Eleni will soon be graduating with a BFA in Acting with a concentration in Musical Theatre Performance. Some of Eleni's favorite performance credits include Olivia in Twelfth Night, Joan in Melancholy Play A Chamber Musical, and Penelope Pennywise in Urinetown the Musical. In addition to her work as an performer, Eleni also has experience in composition, vocal arranging, and music direction. Her original music was recently featured in Red Riding Hood by Allison Gregory at Syracuse Stage (2023), and The Droll by Meg Miroshnik at Syracuse Drama (2024). Eleni is extremely passionate about new work, and her involvement in Syracuse Drama's New Works New Voices Initiative as a script evaluator, music assistant, and actor, has been a stepping stone to a lifelong appreciation for telling new stories.
When she's not onstage or in class, Eleni enjoys playing the piano, reading, and sipping bubbly water (she is a self-proclaimed connoisseur)! A few fun facts about Eleni: she is a proud Grexican (50% Greek, 50% Mexican), her favorite food is chocolate, and her artistic inspiration is Linda Ronstadt.
